Residents: Get to Stepping Challenge

Teams:

If you are the first member of your team to register, you will need to create a team. If your team has already been created, skip to the last step.

  • Select the orange Teams iconClick Create New Team.
  • Enter your team’s name. Select Save.
  • Scroll through the list of teams to find your team’s name. Select your team. Click Save.

Note: Team results will appear on the leaderboard as the average number of steps taken per team member.

Entering Steps Taken:

There are two methods of entering the number of steps you’ve taken into the Challenge Runner tracking system: 1) upload your steps to ChallengeRunner.com automatically by syncing your supported activity tracker 2) track your steps using a pedometer and manually enter them into the ChallengeRunner platform each day.

1. Syncing an Activity Tracker

  • Login to your ChallengeRunner.com account. Click the Profile link at the top of the homepage, then select the Tracker.
  • Select your activity tracker from the dropdown list.
  • Notes dialogue box will pop-up next to the drop-down list. Follow its prompts to sync your tracker.
  • Once the device is authorized, be sure to connect your device to the activity tracker's website at least once per day to sync data.

2. Manual Step Entry

Challenge Runner Website:

  1. Login to osuchs.challengerunner.com. Locate the Steps Walked line under the Residents: Get to Stepping title.
  2. Enter the number of steps taken each day into the box to the right.

Challenge Runner App:

  1. Select the Residents: Get to Stepping challenge.
  2. Select Steps Walked.
  3. Enter the number of steps you take every day of the challenge.
