Description:

RCMC GET Healthy EDITION STARTS ON Friday August 14 and is 6 weeks long!

It will go from Aug 14th to Sept 25th.

We will have weekly prizes and prizes for the overall winners.

We invite you to participate as much or as little as you would like. You will earn points for anything you do that is health and kindness realted. The goal is to be your very best YOU!

RULES 

  1. You will receive points for completing certain health and fitness tasks, but you must be able to prove that you've completed the tasks.
  2. Points will be added up at the end of the challange to determine the winner.

Kindness is a way of showing others that they count. Carrying out random acts of kindness on a daily basis is truly a win-win situation. The person you are being kind to benefits through your help. You feel good for having helped someone. The world is a better place through your kindness. Never underestimate the impact of a single act of kindness.

Here are a few ideas to get you started!

  1. Send someone a hand-written note of thanks.
  2. Make a card at home and send it to a friend for no reason.
  3. Put some coins in someone else’s parking meter.
  4. Walk your friend’s dog.
  5. Send someone a small gift anonymously.
  6. Let someone jump in front of you in line.
  7. Pay for the drinks on the next table at a café.
  8. Treat a friend to the movies for no reason.
  9. Give a huge tip to someone when they least expect it.
  10. Give up your seat for someone, not just an elderly person.
  11. Talk to a homeless person and have a “normal” conversation.
  12. Pick up some rubbish in the road that would otherwise be lying around.
  13. Compliment your friend or family member.
  14. Give another driver your parking spot.
  15. Hold the door open for a stranger.
  16. Help an elderly neighbor carry the trash out.
  17. Tell all your family members how much you appreciate them.
  18. Smile and say “hello” to someone you don’t know.
  19. Buy an inspirational book for a friend.
  20. Send a thank you note to a person who has helped you in the past.
